Qualification: Diploma in relevant Engineering Discipline / B.Sc Chemistry / M.Sc Chemistry
Key Skill or Job Description:
- Monitor and control field equipment using SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklists and ODR instruments.
- Conduct condition monitoring using portable instruments and perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with shift superintendent and panel executive for smooth plant operations.
- Collect and deliver field samples for laboratory testing.
- Maintain equipment logs and operational records.
- Identify and support safety improvement initiatives.
- Handle hazardous materials and plant waste as per established procedures.
- Support contract workers to ensure safe work practices.
- Promote safe operating procedures within designated operating range.
- Act as first responder during emergencies.
- Coordinate with safety engineers to report and resolve safety concerns.
- Collaborate with field executives, shift engineers and contractors.
- Sign off permits after ensuring hazard-free work conditions.
- Coordinate permit management with the safety in-charge.
- Identify opportunities for operational and safety improvements.
- Stay updated on TQM, EFQM, QCC, 5S and technical knowledge.
