1. Civilian Catering Instructor (CCI)

• Matriculation or equivalent; Diploma/Certificate in catering from a recognised institution; one year of experience in catering as an instructor is desirable.

2. Cook

• Matriculation or equivalent; knowledge of Indian cooking and proficiency in the trade; one year of trade experience is desirable.

3. MTS (Chowkidar)

• Matriculation or equivalent; should be proficient in trade work.

4. Civilian Motor Driver (CMD)

• Matriculation or equivalent; must possess a valid driving licence for both heavy and light motor vehicles; should have at least two years of driving experience.

5. Cleaner

• Matriculation or equivalent; should be proficient in trade work.

6. Tradesman Mate (Labour)

• Matriculation or equivalent; should be proficient in trade.

7. Fire Engine Driver (FED)

• Matriculation or equivalent; should be proficient in trade work; at least three years’ experience driving heavy vehicles and a valid driving licence; preferably certified after attending a fireman course.

8. Fireman

• Matriculation or equivalent; must be conversant with the use and maintenance of extinguishers, hose fittings, fire engines, trailers, pumps and foam branches; familiar with first-aid fire fighting appliances and trailer fire pump; must know elementary fire fighting principles and be able to perform assigned fire crew duties.

9. Leading Fireman

• Matriculation or equivalent; must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire equipment; must be capable of training, guiding and controlling the working of the B crane, and capable of taking independent charge of a shift.

Written Examination Pattern

The written exam consists of 4 parts (Objective Type, Duration: 2 Hours):
