ISRO Recruitment 2026: ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has announced a notification for meritorious candidates for Scientist/Engineer posts. There are 175 vacancies available for this job. Selection Process for ISRO Careers:

  • The selection process will be based on a written test/CBT
  • The call letters for written test/CBT will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of candidates.

Pattern of Question Paper for Written Test/CBT:

Interview:

  • Based on performance in the written test, candidates will be short-listed for Interview in the ratio of 1:5, with an aggregate minimum of 10 candidates.
  • For reserved vacancies, distinct/additional candidates will be short-listed in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum), without regard to the reserved candidates if any, short-listed under UR category

Note:

  • Written test/ CBT will be conducted at Thirty Seven venues viz., Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh/Mohali, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Ernakulum, Gorakhpur, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kavaratti, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Mysore, Nagpur, Patna, Port Blair, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Shilong, Tiruchirapalli, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Vijayawada,
    Vishakhapatnam.
  • However, ICRB reserves the right to cancel/change the written test/CBT venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test Centre. The call letters for written test/CBT will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of candidates.

Application Fee:

  • There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for all the posts. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) as processing fee.
  • The Processing fee will be refunded only to those candidates who appear in the written test / CBT, as under:
    • Refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC/ST/ PwBD, Ex-Servicemen)
    • After deducting the Application Fee ₹250/- in respect of all other candidates, ₹ 500/- will be refunded

Mode of Payment: 

  • The Application fee will be collected only through Online mode via Bharatkosh e-Payment gateway and the link for making the payment will appear on submission of the online application. The fee can be paid using any one of the following modes:
    • Internet Banking
    • Unified Payment Interface (UPI)
    • Debit Cards (Domestic)
