Accurate Legal Billing is looking for Legal Compliance Trainees to join our team!

Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in legal billing compliance, guideline interpretation, invoice review, and compliance testing. The selected candidates will work closely with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and adherence to client-specific legal billing guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret client-specific legal billing guidelines to understand compliance requirements.
• Develop, update, and maintain guideline-based compliance rules and conditions.
• Analyze invoice reports to identify discrepancies, inaccuracies, and potential compliance violations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of review findings, compliance checks, and test results.
• Conduct software testing to verify that legal billing guidelines and compliance rules are correctly implemented.
• Identify and report billing inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve compliance-related queries and support process improvements.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in Law, Compliance, Corporate Governance, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of legal terminology, compliance principles, and documentation practices.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other documentation tools.

• Willingness to learn new software applications, compliance tools, and legal billing processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an onsite work environment.
