GIDEON Informatics is a growing online medical software and bioinformatics company whose success is rooted in its highly diverse global scientific team. We seek an experienced, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Scientific Data Analyst to help us serve our user community of public health, microbiology, and point-of-care professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a diligent, analytical individual to help advance the global effort against infectious diseases by becoming a key part of the GIDEON scientific team. Responsibilities:

● Conduct secondary research to supplement and enhance existing data
● Critically review the content to meet stringent scientific guidelines
● Enter new data into the expert computer system
● Review existing datasets for errors and proactively fix them
● Implement amendments as required by the supervising editor
● View performance evaluations and peer reviews as actionable opportunities for continuous professional development.

● Possess outstanding written English skills
● Are fluent in spoken English (C2 level is a must)
● Possess Masters degree or higher level of education in the field of medicine, public health, health informatics, or microbiology
○ If holding a medical degree, it must be in Allopathic Medicine (MBBS/MD/Modern Medicine). Note: Candidates with qualifications in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Siddha, or other non-allopathic backgrounds are not eligible for this position.

● Can demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
● Have previous research and/or publication experience
● Can analyze large amounts of scientific text to extract the relevant information manually
● You are a competent and avid reader of medical and scientific literature
● Possess intermediate computer literacy (skilled with using programs such as Word and Excel, along with Google Workspace)
● Interest in the field of infectious diseases is a MUST
