2. Junior supervisor (Marine Cranes)

• (Passed Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates having Dredger experience.

3. Seaman Grade III

• 10th Std Pass.
• Valid Basic STCW course certificates.
• Certificate of Competency as Serang or Higher as per Harbour Craft Rules / I.V Act/ MS Act
• Desirable: Holding COP as Rating forming part of Navigational Watch (Regulation $II/4$ of STCW convention)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience on a floating craft as Seaman. Preference will be given to candidate having Dredger experience.

4. Winch Operator

• 10th Std Pass.
• Valid Basic STCW course certificates.
• Certificate of Competency as Serang or Higher as per Harbour Craft Rules / I.V Act
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience on a floating craft as seaman. Preference will be given to candidate having Dredger experience.

5. Engine Fitter

• 10th Std. Pass.
• Holding Engine Room watch keeping certificate as per STCW Reg.III/4
• Desirable qualification: Preference to candidates sailed in the rank of fitter on board Merchant ships/ to candidate having Dredger experience.

6. GP Crew

• 10th Std Pass.
• Pass Swimming Test
• Valid Basic STCW certificates
• Desirable qualification: Pass pre-sea training for seaman/GP rating or Higher Certificate of Competency issued as per Harbour Craft Rules / I.V Act.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years experience on a floating craft as seaman. Preference will be given to candidate having Dredger experience.

7. Cook

• 10th Std Pass
• Valid Basic STCW course certificates
• Desirable qualification: Preference to candidate holding Maritime Catering Certificate
• Experience: 1 year experience in cooking of food. Preference will be given to candidate having Dredger experience.

8. Deck Hand

• 10th Std Pass
• Valid Basic STCW course certificates
• Preference will be given to candidate having Dredger experience.

1. What is the duration of the employment contract?

• The initial engagement is strictly on a contract basis for a period of two years. However, it may be extended further depending on your performance and the requirements of the Cochin Port Authority (CoPA).
