Content Writing Intern

2Base Technologies is at a deliberate stage of building its marketing content function, and this internship is the entry point into that function.
We are a technology services company with over 16 years of delivery experience, working with mid-market and enterprise clients across the United States and the United Kingdom. Our work spans custom software development, AI implementation, legacy system modernisation, and operational transformation.
This is an entry-level writing role with a specific, practical purpose. It is not a social media role and it is not a generalist marketing role. If that distinction is unclear from the outset, this is probably not the right fit.

What This Role Exists to Do
Technology is complicated. Our job is to make it clear. This role exists to support the production of written content that explains what 2Base does, what problems we solve, and why that matters to the people we work with. The output is blog posts that earn attention, social copies that are actually read, and supporting content that helps the marketing function move.
You will work from structured briefs, receive direct feedback on every draft, and build a practical foundation in technology content writing. The audience is technical leaders and business decision-makers at mid-market companies. Writing that is clear, specific, and free of noise. That is the standard you will be working towards and learning to meet.

What You Will Own
First drafts of blog posts on technology topics including software development, AI implementation, digital transformation, and IT services written from structured briefs provided by the Marketing Manager
Social media copies for the 2Base LinkedIn page and other channels, produced to brief and reviewed before publishing
Research for content briefs – gathering background, understanding the topic, and returning with enough substance to write from
Supporting long-form content production: contributing sections, drafts, and revisions under direction
Proofreading and editing your own drafts against 2Base brand voice guidelines before submitting

What You Will Not Own
Content strategy and editorial planning: the Marketing Manager sets the direction and you execute within it
Publishing decisions: a separate team member manages scheduling and publishing
Visual design of content assets: the design function owns this
SEO keyword selection: the SEO specialist sets this and you write within it
Campaign strategy or audience definition
Client-facing communications of any kind

Requirements
Experience
Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience. Internship experience in content writing, copywriting, journalism, or technical writing counts.
Has written something anything that demonstrates the ability to put ideas into clear, readable sentences. College submissions, personal blogs, LinkedIn posts, college magazine articles, or internship work all qualify.
Has used AI writing tools and understands both their value and their limits. AI is a tool in this role, not the writer.
Background in engineering, computer science, or information technology is preferred. Graduates from other streams with demonstrated interest in technology topics are also considered.

Writing Ability
Writes clearly in English. Not without errors that improves with practice – but with a clear structure and a readable point.
Can read a brief and produce something that addresses it, rather than writing whatever comes to mind
Accepts feedback and revises drafts without treating the edit as personal criticism
Does not pad. Does not repeat the same point in different words to fill length.

Genuinely curious about technology topics: not faking interest to get the job, but actually reading and thinking about what software, AI, and digital
