Golang Microservices Engineer – Payment Card Middleware

Role
We are looking for a GOLANG BACKEND ENGINEER with strong experience in Microservices and PostgreSQL to develop and maintain an enterprise middleware/integration platform for the Payment Card Systems and Card Management domain.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop scalable and secure GoLang microservices.
• Design and develop REST APIs / gRPC services and system integrations.
• Build middleware for integration between Card Management Platforms and third-party systems.
• Design, develop and optimise PostgreSQL databases and SQL queries.
• Implement transaction processing, error handling, logging and resiliency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments.
• Follow coding standards, unit testing, Git and Agile practices.
Must Have
• 3+ years of hands-on Golang development.
• Strong Microservices architecture experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL / SQL skills.
• REST API and enterprise integration experience.
• Good understanding of distributed systems.
• Payment Card Systems and Card Management domain experience.
Candidates with backend engineering experience and exposure to Payment Card Systems and Card Management Platforms will be preferred.
