About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Malayalam Content Writer Intern who is passionate about Malayalam language, storytelling, and digital content. The intern will get an opportunity to create engaging and culturally relevant content for social media, digital campaigns, websites, advertisements, and other marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Write engaging Malayalam content for social media, websites, blogs, digital campaigns, and marketing materials.
* Create creative captions, taglines, campaign ideas, and short-form content.
* Translate and adapt English content into natural, audience-friendly Malayalam.
* Assist in developing scripts for reels, promotional videos, and advertisements.
* Research current trends and generate fresh Malayalam content ideas.
* Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and digital marketing teams.
* Ensure content is grammatically accurate, clear, engaging, and aligned with the brand’s tone.
* Proofread and edit content before publication.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns.
* Explore and use AI writing and content optimisation tools where appropriate.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Journalism, Malayalam Literature, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
* Excellent command of written Malayalam.
* Good English communication skills.
* Strong creative writing and storytelling abilities.
* Interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
* Ability to understand different audiences and adapt writing styles accordingly.
* Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a creative environment.
* Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
* Basic understanding of SEO and digital content is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

* Strong knowledge of Malayalam grammar, vocabulary, and contemporary usage.
* Ability to write engaging content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
* Experience or interest in writing scripts for reels, advertisements, and promotional videos.
* Understanding of current social media and digital content trends.
* Familiarity with AI writing and content optimisation tools.
* A portfolio, writing samples, or personal content page is an added advantage.
