Salary Details : SBI Recruitment 2026

  • The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15,000/- Per Month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.

Age Limit : SBI Recruitment 2026

  • Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.04.2026. (Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines).

Qualification : SBI Recruitment 2026

  • Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.

Note: Candidates should ensure that the certificate/degree issued by the University/Institute clearly indicates the date of passing the examination, which must be on or before 01.04.2026.

  • General / OBC / EWS Categories : Rs.300
  • SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Categories : Nil (Exempted from fee payment)

  • Fill in the required details correctly without any mistakes.
  • Upload all required documents in the format and size mentioned in the notification.
  • Finally, after verifying that the registered details are correct, then submit.
  • Next, if State Bank of India requires an application fee, make the payment as per the notification mode. Otherwise, go to the next step.
  • Take a printout of it and keep it safe

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What is the educational qualification required, and can final year students apply?

  • Answer: Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree from a recognized University or Institute. The graduation examination must have been cleared on or before 01.04.2026. If you have completed your graduation and your official date of passing falls on or before this cutoff date, you are eligible to apply.

2. What are the upper and lower age limits for candidates?

  • Answer: The minimum age requirement is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years as of 01.04.2026 (candidates must have been born between 02.04.1998 and 01.04.2006, both days inclusive). Standard upper age relaxation applies to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, etc.) as per Government of India guidelines.

3. Can I apply for vacancies in more than one state?

  • Answer: No. Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Furthermore, you can only appear for the online written examination once under this entire engagement project. You should also be proficient in specified local language of the state you choose, as a local language test is part of the selection criteria.

4. Who is exempted from paying the application fee?

Answer: The application fee structure is as follows:

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹300
  • SC / ST / PwBD: Nil (Exempted from payment)

Note: The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online on or before June 8, 2026.

5. I have prior work experience/training. Am I eligible for this apprenticeship?

  • Answer: No. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training (or are currently undergoing training) under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any organization are not eligible. Additionally, anyone with one year or more of work experience after completing their graduation is also disqualified from applying.
