Test Engineer

Test Engineer
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our QA team and ensure the quality of our software products. The candidate should have good testing knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with developers and business teams.

Responsibilities
Understand requirements and prepare test cases.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA.
Perform manual testing and support automation testing.
Retest defects and perform regression testing after fixes.
Prepare test data and maintain testing documents.
Work closely with developers and business analysts.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings.
Provide regular updates on testing progress and defects.
Ensure the application meets quality and business requirements.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in software testing.
Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in functional and regression testing.
Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
Knowledge of TestRail or other test management tools is preferred.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Knowledge of API testing/Postman is an advantage.
Experience with automation testing is a plus.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
