Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a pass in Plus Two (Higher Secondary) in Science stream or equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of 5 years practical experience in a Physics Laboratory. Desirable: Practical experience in a Post Graduate (PG) laboratory and experience in handling/servicing equipment and instruments in a PG physics laboratory.

Qualifying Examination (Plus Two Science Academic Merit) 30 Marks Evaluation of marks obtained in Higher Secondary / Plus Two Science stream.
Physics Laboratory Practical Experience (>5 Years & PG Lab) 35 Marks Assessment of documented practical experience in physics laboratory operations, with preference for PG lab experience.
Instrument Maintenance & Equipment Servicing Skills 15 Marks Practical familiarity and servicing competence with postgraduate physics laboratory apparatus and analytical equipment.
Walk-in Personal Interview & Technical Proficiency 20 Marks Assessment of laboratory safety protocols, technical knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and interpersonal suitability during personal interview.

Report in person for the Walk-in Interview with the filled application form, original certificates, and self-attested copies on 26.10.2026 at 10:00 AM at the AD A5 Section, University Administration Block, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills, Kottayam, Kerala. The interview commences at 10:30 AM in the Mini Conference Hall.
Selected candidates must execute an official contract agreement with the University.
