Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science / M.Sc. IT / B.Tech / B.E. (CS/IT) from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of 05 years of relevant experience in GOI projects / PSUs / Industries / reputed private companies, or ODL/ERP modules of a university, result processing, exam workflows, networking cloud services, OR software application development in .NET CORE and deployment, OR database management. Desirable: working knowledge in open-source technologies (C#, Java, MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Linux/Windows Server Management, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core). Candidates must be bona fide domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

Personal Interview

Selection is formulated through a three-tier 100-mark evaluation scheme conducted at the University campus:

Written Test (50 Marks): Objective MCQ format covering programming concepts, data structures, DBMS, web development, software engineering, and core development tools.

Logic / Skill Test (30 Marks): Practical problem-solving test comprising two technical tasks of 15 marks each.

Interview (20 Marks): Personal interview for candidates shortlisted based on combined scores of the Written and Logic/Skill tests.
