1) Department: Solvent Recovery Plant (SRP) & Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE)
Designation: Manager SRP / HOD
Experience: 12 to 15 Years
Qualification: B.E. Chemical
Salary: CTC ₹12.00 to ₹16.00 LACS
Work Location: T-4, E-50, Tarapur, Maharashtra
Reporting To: DGM / GM
Additional Scope: Takes additional responsibility till the plant runs full-fledged and covers for block managers in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of both SRP and Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) plant for smooth functioning.
- Trial and optimization of major crude solvents to usable levels.
- Management of both crude and distilled solvents.
- Lab trials for development, recovery and reuse of solvents.
- Running the RO system to remove water from aqueous ethanol.
- Prepare BPR, ECR, SOPs, daily reports, solvent ratios and monthly solvent recovery reconciliation w.r.t. RMC.
- Qualify columns and equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain GMP compliance.
- Carry out HAZOP studies, ensure safety compliance and record deviations.
- Interface with other departments and plants for solvent issuance and verify incoming streams for accuracy.
- Initiate and implement innovations to optimize recovery and reduce operational costs.
Skills & Knowledge Areas
- Technical Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of solvent recovery & MEE plant maintenance/operations.
- Knowledge of solvent chemical/physical properties (MSDS).
- Cross-contamination prevention.
- PLC SCADA / pneumatic controller instrumentation.
Human Resources:
Provide comprehensive training to subordinates on operations, solvents, GMP and safety.
