Associate – Appeals

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Appeals Associate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in billing appeals, e-billing, legal billing, or a related field. The candidate will be responsible for managing billing appeals, investigating rejected or reduced invoices, preparing appeal narratives, and coordinating with internal teams to support timely resolution and revenue recovery.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage billing appeals related to rejected, denied, or reduced invoices.
• Review billing entries, identify discrepancies, and prepare clear and accurate appeal narratives.
• Track appeal submissions, monitor progress, and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
• Identify recurring billing issues and support root-cause analysis to minimize future rejections.
• Collaborate with Billing, Accounts Receivable, AI, and Compliance teams to resolve billing-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate appeal trackers and documentation.
• Prepare reports on appeal status, recovery performance, and outstanding cases.

Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in billing appeals, e-billing, legal billing, or a related field.
• Strong written communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with e-billing platforms.
• Ability to investigate billing discrepancies and manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Strong coordination, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work in the US night shift.
