Educational Qualification
- Undergraduate Degree: B.Sc. Agriculture degree from a recognized Institute / University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale.
- Postgraduate Degree: Master’s degree in any discipline of Agriculture with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
- National Eligibility: Must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR, ICAR, or UGC (or SLET/SET), OR possess a Ph.D. Degree in Agriculture awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009/2016/2022) with NET exemption conditions fulfilled.

Offer of Engagement for Monsoon Semester (2026-27)
Selection is conducted through a single-window walk-in interview procedure:
Document Scrutiny: Candidates report on September 18, 2026 by 11:00 AM at the CUO Guest House, Sunabeda for verification of original degrees, ICAR/UGC NET certificates, and application forms against UGC 2018 minimum eligibility norms.
Personal Interview: Eligible candidates appear before the duly constituted Selection Committee evaluating subject expertise in agriculture, research publication record, and teaching demonstration.
Recommendation: Selected guest faculty members are engaged for the Monsoon Semester (2026-27), subject to approval by the Competent Authority of Central University of Odisha.

Academic Credentials & Academic Performance 40 Marks Graduation (B.Sc. Agriculture), Post-Graduation (M.Sc. Agriculture), M.Phil/Ph.D. compliance, and ICAR/UGC NET/JRF score as per UGC 2018 criteria.
Research Publications & Academic Contributions 25 Marks Assessment of research papers published in peer-reviewed, UGC-CARE or NAAS-rated agricultural journals, authored books, and conference presentations.
Teaching & Field Experimentation Experience 15 Marks Evaluation of prior university/college level teaching experience in agricultural disciplines and field trial management.
Personal Interview & Pedagogical Demonstration 20 Marks Classroom teaching delivery, communication clarity, domain knowledge of agronomy, soil science, crop physiology, and interaction with the Selection Board.

Pay Scale & Monthly Remuneration
Honorarium of ₹1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month.
Selected candidates shall be paid an honorarium of ₹ 1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum ceiling of ₹ 50,000/- per month. Engagement is on a purely temporary basis for the Monsoon Semester (2026-27), likely extendable for another semester based on satisfactory performance, or terminating upon regular faculty joining. No allowances, pension, gratuity, or leave benefits admissible.

Application Procedure
- Download the official application form attached with the advertisement notification from the Central University of Odisha website ( cuo.ac.in ).
- Fill out the prescribed application format completely with personal details, educational qualifications from High School onwards, research publications, and prior teaching experience. Affix a recent passport-size photograph.
- Prepare one set of self-attested photocopies of all supporting certificates, mark sheets, NET/SLET award letter, Ph.D. degree notification, and category credentials.
Attend the Walk-in-Interview in person on 18.09.2026 at 11:00 AM at the Guest House, CUO Main Campus, NAD-Sunabeda, Koraput, Odisha – 763004 .
Produce all original certificates, mark sheets, and testimonials before the screening committee for on-spot physical verification.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.
