Responsibilities
- Lead migration of SSIS packages to Azure Databricks and PySpark Lakehouse environments
- Architect Modern Data Warehouse and Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architectures
- Mentor data engineers, conduct code reviews and establish development standards
- Translate business requirements into technical blueprints with architects, analysts and DevOps teams
- Develop and optimise batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines
- Maintain legacy SSIS packages and T-SQL during transition
- Implement Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, data-quality controls and CI/CD automation
- Optimise Spark clusters and enforce governance, audit logging and secure data handling
