Job Description:
- Operate and monitor LNG terminal process systems from the Control Room using DCS platform.
- Control LNG unloading operations including cool-down, line-up changes, vapour return management, and cargo rate coordination.
- Monitor and maintain stable operating parameters for LNG tanks, boil-off gas (BOG) systems, recondenser, vaporizers (ORV/SCV), HP/LP send-out systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms, process deviations, trips, and equipment abnormalities.
- Ensure safe and reliable functioning of ESD systems, Fire & Gas (F&G) systems, and all interlocks as per cause-and-effect matrices.
- Support BOG handling through careful operation of BOG compressors, anti-surge systems, and energy optimization logic.
- Maintain accurate shift logbook, process records, event summaries, and daily operation reports.
- Coordinate with Jetty teams during LNG carrier berthing, unloading, and terminal readiness checks.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5–12 years in LNG terminals / Gas Processing / Refinery / Fertilizer / Ammonia Plant / Petrochemical operations.
- Knowledge of LNG storage, BOG management, vaporizers, and regas systems.
- Understanding of P&IDs, cause-and-effect, alarms, Interlocks & safety systems.
- Ability to work in shifts and high-criticality environments.
- Strong DCS/PLC operation skills. (Yokogawa).
