Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating electrical drawings and supporting the project team throughout the construction process.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
Draft electrical layouts for power, lighting, low-current systems, and other related electrical services.
Prepare builder’s work drawings, sleeve drawings, and section details as required.
Coordinate electrical layouts with HVAC, plumbing, structural, and architectural services.
Revise drawings according to consultant comments and site requirements.
Support the site team by providing drawing clarifications and updated submissions.
Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and document control.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, consultant requirements, and applicable drawing standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the MEP Electrical Draftsman position should meet the following requirements:
Diploma, ITI, or a relevant qualification in Drafting, Electrical, or a related field.
Previous UAE experience in MEP drafting is mandatory.
Strong experience in electrical shop drawings and coordination drawings.
Good knowledge of consultant and authority requirements and drawing standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Revit will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under project deadlines and coordinate with different project teams.
