Profile Summary:

Exciting opportunity to join a global client-based organization as part of the Facade Engineering team, supporting the delivery of high-quality shop drawings for Curtain Wall and Storefront systems. The role requires strong expertise in 2D AutoCAD drafting, the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, and a proactive approach to delivering accurate drawings within project timelines. Success in this role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with internal engineering teams to ensure the timely and successful execution of projects.
Salary offers are based on qualifications, experience, skills, and education, market factors, and grade profile. A background verification will be conducted following a conditional job offer, based on the requirements of the role.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate 2D shop drawings for Curtain Wall, Storefront, doors and windows system using AutoCAD.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and project specification drawings to produce detailed shop drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with client requirements, project specifications, and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to resolve design and drafting queries.
• Review project documents and raise RFIs (Requests for Information) wherever clarification is required.
• Perform self-quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Deliver assigned work within project schedules while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support successful project execution.
Qualification, Experience, and Skills:
• 3–7 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting for façade projects.
• Must have hands-on experience in preparing 2D shop drawings for Curtain Wall, doors, Storefront and windows systems.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Must be able to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of other façade systems such as Structural Glazing, Frameless Partitions, Spider Glazing, ACP Cladding, Skylights, Canopies, Balustrades, Doors & Windows, and software such as Revit or Autodesk Inventor will be considered an added advantage.
