Hands-on principal engineering leadership role within CTO Platform Engineering and Architecture, responsible for standardizing application platforms and consolidating hosting estates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong engineering background
- hands-on production coding capability
- knowledge of Linux kernel, Kubernetes, and networking
Skills
- Platform engineering, enterprise architecture, Kubernetes, Linux, TCP/UDP, service mesh, resilience engineering, observability, automation, governance, stakeholder management
Responsibilities
- Lead Application Platform Engineering
- own delivery, controls, and outcomes
- establish governance and measurable engineering standards
- drive approximately 80% application migration to the standard platform
- consolidate six hosting platforms
- improve resilience, observability, and automated run controls.
