1) Department: Quality Control (QC)
Designation: QC Officer
Experience: 1–3 Years in Quality Control in the Chemical/Manufacturing Industry
Qualification: B.Sc. (Chemistry) / M.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct raw material, in-process and finished product testing as per specifications.
- Perform chemical and physical analysis using laboratory instruments and methods such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, Titration and UV-Vis.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.
- Maintain laboratory records, log books and documentation as per GMP/SOP.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and measuring equipment.
- Support in method validation and stability studies.
- Investigate and document deviations/out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Coordinate with production and QC/QA for resolution of quality issues.
- Ensure safety and good laboratory practices in the QC laboratory.
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory instruments.
- Understanding of chemical testing methods and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and in shift operations.
