1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent; proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB; working knowledge of computers is desirable

2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference to candidates with a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, IT, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy; local language proficiency required

3. Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks; preference to specified subject backgrounds
  • Post-Qualification Experience: 2 years as an officer in a bank or financial institution

4. Officer Scale-II – Information Technology Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/IT or equivalent, minimum 50% aggregate marks
  • Post-Qualification Experience: 1 year in the relevant field

5. Officer Scale-II – Chartered Accountant

  • Certified Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
  • Post-Qualification Experience: 1 year as a Chartered Accountant

6. Officer Scale-II – Law Officer

  • Degree in Law from a recognised university, minimum 50% aggregate marks
  • Post-Qualification Experience: 2 years as an advocate, or as a Law Officer in a bank/financial institution

7. Officer Scale-II – Treasury Manager

  • Chartered Accountant, or MBA in Finance from a recognised university/institution
  • Post-Qualification Experience: 1 year in the relevant field

8. Officer Scale-II – Marketing Officer

  • MBA in Marketing from a recognised university
  • Post-Qualification Experience: 1 year in the relevant field

9. Officer Scale-II – Agricultural Officer

Selection Process : IBPS RRB XV Recruitment 2026

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

  • Preliminary Examination: An online objective test consisting of Reasoning and Numerical Ability, serving as the first screening stage.
  • Main Examination: Candidates who clear the preliminary cutoff appear for a comprehensive online exam covering Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge.
  • Final Allotment: Merit is prepared based solely on the Main Examination marks, followed by provisional allotment to participating regional rural banks. There is no interview round for Office Assistants.

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

  • Preliminary Examination: An initial online screening test comprising Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates take the online main exam covering reasoning, quantitative aptitude, financial/general awareness, language proficiency, and computers.
  • Common Interview: Candidates who clear the main examination are called for a face-to-face interview coordinated by the participating banks and IBPS.
  • Final Allotment: Final selection and merit list creation combine the scores obtained in the Main Examination and the Interview.

Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer & Specialist Cadre) and Scale-III

  • Single Online Examination: Unlike lower posts, these higher managerial grades skip the preliminary phase and directly undergo a single-level advanced online examination, which includes professional knowledge tests for specialist tracks.
  • Common Interview: Candidates clearing the single written test are invited to the interview stage.
  • Final Allotment: Final merit is determined using a weighted evaluation of the Single Online Examination and the Interview.
