Key Responsibilities
• Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals and accurately transcribe them into medical reports, clinical notes, and other healthcare-related documents.
• Review and edit transcribed documents to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, clarity, and correct usage of medical terminology.
• Ensure all transcription assignments are completed within specified timelines while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and applicable legal requirements.
• Convert completed transcriptions into the required formats and upload them to the designated software or system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical practices to ensure high-quality and accurate transcription.
• Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
• Contribute to improving dashboard metrics, reporting accuracy, and overall documentation quality through data analysis and constructive feedback.
