Educational Qualification
Master's Degree (M.V.Sc.) in Veterinary Medicine / Veterinary Clinical Medicine / Veterinary Preventive Medicine or Veterinary Surgery from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA 5.5 on a 10-point scale. Desirable qualification: NET / Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject; research publications in peer-reviewed journals will be given due weightage.

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Walk-in Interview and evaluation of academic credentials and peer-reviewed research publications. Candidates must report at the Conference Hall, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, OUAT, Bhubaneswar on 09.10.2026 by 10:30 AM with original certificates, two sets of self-attested photocopies, updated Bio-data, two passport photographs, and a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-.

Evaluation Area / Component Assessment Criteria & Guidelines
Academic Credentials (B.V.Sc. & A.H. and M.V.Sc.) Evaluation of academic percentage/CGPA in undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary degrees with minimum 55% or CGPA 5.5 in 10-point scale.
Higher Qualifications (NET / Ph.D.) Weightage for clearing ICAR-NET and/or holding a Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Surgery.
Research Publications & Teaching Experience Assessment of research papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and prior teaching or clinical experience.
Walk-in Interview & Technical Viva Voce Oral interview assessing domain knowledge, clinical diagnostic skills, pedagogical ability, and communication.

Remuneration of Rs. 1,200/- per class subject to a maximum of 50 classes per month (maximum Rs. 60,000/- per month). Engagement is for the academic year 2026-27.

Application Procedure
- Prepare an updated Bio-data/Curriculum Vitae along with two recent passport-size photographs.
Obtain a Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque of Rs. 500/- drawn in favor of 'Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar' payable at Bhubaneswar.
Assemble all original certificates and mark sheets (starting from HSCE/10th onwards, M.V.Sc. degree, NET/Ph.D. certificates, peer-reviewed research publication reprints, experience certificates, and No Objection Certificate from the current employer, if applicable).
- Prepare two sets of self-attested photocopies of all original documents and certificates.
