Project Lead /Technical Architect

About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Project Lead who combines hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership and client-facing skills. You’ll also act as the Technical Architect: when a business enquiry comes in, you’ll shape the solution and prepare the proposal, then lead the team to deliver it on time, within scope, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Review business enquiries, join discovery calls, and prepare technical proposals (architecture, tech stack, estimates, timelines).
Design scalable, secure solutions and create PoCs or walkthroughs for client presentations.
Identify where AI tools and AI-driven features can add value for clients.
Provide technical direction, code/design reviews, and ensure quality, security, and best practices.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, testers, and other contributors.
Run sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and one-on-ones; remove blockers.
Act as the primary client contact: run meetings, demos, and status reviews, and manage scope, timelines, and risks.
Track timelines, budgets, and resources using Agile/Scrum; maintain project documentation and ensure smooth releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience, including prior technical lead or architect experience.
Experience leading teams of 5-15 members.
Strong hands-on knowledge of MERN stack and Python/FastAPI.
Working knowledge of AI tools (LLM APIs, AI coding assistants, prompt engineering).
Experience preparing technical proposals and estimates.
Solid understanding of system design, APIs, databases, cloud, and CI/CD basics.
Direct client interaction experience, preferably with international clients.
Proficiency with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira or Confluence.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
