Job Details
The Audit Senior Associate should have prior experience in financial statements audit and have proven experience in service delivery. Prior team management skills and an ability to handle stakeholder relationships are essential, covering audit service delivery, content and industry focus, and day-to-day audit coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified CA or US CPA with or without a Master’s degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%). Recent client-facing audit experience with Big 4/leading audit firms or shared service center in a senior associate program. Experience in conducting integrated audits per PCAOB auditing standards preferred.
Skills
- – Audit and accounting knowledge, including applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Responsibilities
- – Coordinate day-to-day activities of audits and client interactions ensuring efficient information flow. – Supervise GDC audit associates on engagements including documentation review, coaching, and feedback. – Review engagement audit documentation prepared by U.S. Audit Associates and Interns. – Raise and resolve issues identified on a timely basis with the US engagement team. – Identify areas of work on US audits that can be off-shored and transition them to GDC. – Support execution of audit approach and procedures per regulatory/professional standards and KPMG methodology.
