Sales Executive – Electrical Switchgear Industry

We are currently looking to hire Sales Executives for our Chennai operations. Please find the
requirement details below:

Position: Sales Executive – Electrical Switchgear Industry
Location: Chennai, India
Employment Type: Full-Time
Number of Vacancies: 3
Salary Range: INR 45,000 – 80,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability
Joining: Immediate joiners preferred – Male candidates only.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–4 years of relevant sales experience in the electrical switchgear / electrical trading
industry
• Hands-on experience in LV switchgear panels and electrical products
• Strong knowledge of the Chennai electrical market
• Proven experience in customer acquisition, sales development, and order conversion
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
• Target-oriented and customer-focused approach
• Willingness to travel for customer and project visits
• Valid driving license is mandatory
• Educational qualification: Engineering / MBA / BBA preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new customers and identify business opportunities in the Chennai market
• Generate enquiries and convert them into orders
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Achieve assigned sales targets
• Conduct regular customer and project visits
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and enquiries
• Monitor market trends and identify potential business opportunities

Important: We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in the
electrical switchgear industry and strong knowledge of the Chennai market. Candidates from
unrelated industries may not be considered.
