Experience: Relevant post qualification experience of 2.5 to 4 years, along with strong Articleship experience from a mid-size or a Big 4 firm (in case of a CA). Experience in country practice or offshore audit delivery centers preferred.

Job Details
Work closely with onshore audit engagement teams as assigned, performing various audit procedures in accordance with KPMG Audit methodology, providing audit service delivery, building positive relationships, identifying technical issues, and coaching less experienced peers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA
Skills
- Working knowledge under Indian / Canadian / US auditing standards along with knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP
- Risk assessment, controls, substantive procedures, evaluation of audit results, verifying financial statements for compliance with accounting framework
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Working knowledge of audit documentation tool
- Exposure to supporting tools such as IDEA or similar sampling tools
- Attention to detail, accuracy and quality
- Industry and specialized knowledge in auditing
- Ability to manage onshore client engagement team expectations
- Willingness and capability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Issue identification and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- – Work closely with onshore audit engagement teams as assigned, performing various audit procedures in accordance with KPMG Audit methodology. – Provide audit service delivery and demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of industry-specific/other permissible procedures. – Build positive relationships by demonstrating an understanding of audit procedures and KPMG Audit Methodology to the engagement team. – Seize business opportunities (processes/clients) within permissibility guidelines. – Demonstrate ability to identify technical issues, professional skepticism, and analyze/research solutions. – Improve audit service delivery based on engagement team feedback. – Guide and coach CRC professionals and provide continuous feedback for their overall professional development. – Coach, train, and provide guidance to less experienced peers and juniors on assigned work and KPMG Audit Methodology.
