Senior C++ Embedded Software Engineer (Linux/QNX)

* Develop Cockpit Core Cluster Middleware and HMI software.
* Expert-level C++ development with hands-on experience in Linux/QNX-based systems.
* Work on embedded software application development, feature implementation, debugging, and issue resolution.

What You Will Do

* Develop and implement Cluster Middleware and HMI applications using industry best practices and relevant standards.
* Analyze existing embedded software to add features, modify functionality, and fix bugs.
* Perform technical coordination, problem triage, and solution development.
* Analyze and improve software KPIs.
* Ensure feature delivery within scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
* Ensure compliance with established software development processes in coordination with SW-APQP.
* Collaborate with cross-functional and UX teams for Cluster software and HMI requirements.
* Stay updated on Instrument Cluster technologies, industry trends, and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align Cluster requirements and standards.
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
* 5–7 years of overall software development experience.
* Strong proficiency in C++ and OOP concepts.
* Hands-on experience developing applications on Linux/QNX.
* Experience in HMI software development; Unity HMI preferred, Qt is an added advantage.
* Experience with inter-process and inter-processor communication mechanisms.
* Experience with IPC programming and SOME/IP.
* Self-driven and innovative approach toward continuous improvement of development processes.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage integration issues and coordinate with multiple teams.
* Experience with industry-standard version control tools such as GitHub and Gerrit.
* Experience with SonarQube-based static code analysis.
