Senior Cloud Architect

Experience: 9+ years

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect / Lead Architect with 9+ years of experience in Java development, Spring technologies, microservices, and cloud architecture. The candidate will be responsible for designing cloud-native solutions, leading application modernization and migration initiatives, defining technical standards, and collaborating with US-based teams in a client-facing role.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience as a Java Architect or Senior Developer with Java and Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data.

Expertise in microservices and event-driven architectures, including Kafka/Confluent.

Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on Azure and/or AWS.

Strong knowledge of REST API design and management using OpenAPI/Swagger, API Gateway, or Azure API Management.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and Shell/Python scripting.

Knowledge of code quality and testing practices using SonarQube and JUnit.

Experience defining security and authentication patterns using OAuth, SAML, and Azure AD.

Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana and Elasticsearch.

Fluent English (C1 or above), both spoken and written, with strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Design and define cloud-native, scalable, and secure reference architectures on Azure and/or AWS.

Lead the modernization of legacy applications and migration to cloud environments.

Define architecture standards, CI/CD strategies, code quality practices, and automated testing approaches.

Design microservices, event-driven solutions, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

Establish security, authentication, observability, and deployment best practices.

Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, and documentation with US-based teams.

Provide technical leadership, mentor developers and DevOps engineers, and guide teams on architecture and implementation decisions.

Nice to Have:

Azure/AWS Solutions Architect or Confluent certifications.

Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), Docker, and Helm.

Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Elasticsearch, Redis, JMeter, and Selenium.

FinOps knowledge and experience working with Agile methodologies.
