Qualification: M.Sc. in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Technology or Paper Technology
Experience: 5+ years in paper chemicals or polymer-based additives, with hands-on product exposure
Key Responsibilities
- Formulation & Synthesis: Develop new polymers, specifically in acrylic chemistry polymerization, EPI and acrylic co-polymers.
- Application Testing: Evaluate polymer performance using Tensile/BF/paper-making machines.
- Process Scaling: Transition successful laboratory-scale formulations to pilot or full production lines.
- Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of polymer physics, chemical reactivity and material characterization techniques.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of paper manufacturing processes and paper chemical applications.
- Proven capability in R&D project management and scale-up.
- Data-driven problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
- Cross-functional coordination with Production, QC and Commercial teams.
- Clear technical communication and leadership skills.
