Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile Team Lead with strong, hands-on expertise across both Java and .NET technology stacks to lead a cross-functional development team. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience, split across Java/J2EE and .NET (WinForms/ASP.NET) development, along with proven leadership managing a team of 15+ members. You will own technical direction and delivery across both stacks — from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation — while providing mentorship and technical leadership across the team.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 12+ developers working across Java and .NET stacks
Own architecture, design, and technical strategy for applications built on Java/Spring Boot and .NET/ASP.NET/WinForms
Translate business requirements from Strategy, Sales, and Trading stakeholders into scalable technical solutions across both platforms
Manage the full software development lifecycle for both Java and .NET projects, from concept to production release
Remediate bugs, defects, and functional non-conformities across Java and .NET applications
Implement and prioritize change requests for functional modifications and enhancements
Drive automation initiatives and tooling to improve development efficiency across both stacks
Oversee code quality through reviews, standards enforcement, and best practices for Java and .NET codebases
Manage cloud capabilities including monitoring, updates, and product lifecycle management
Ensure systems are robust, reliable, and maintainable through unit testing, CI/CD, and automated monitoring
Act as the primary technical point of contact with stakeholders, managing expectations and reporting on delivery
Balance resource allocation and priorities across Java and .NET workstreams
Troubleshoot and resolve critical system/production issues as needed
Competence Requirements:
Proven experience as a Team Lead with hands-on expertise in both Java and .NET (15+ years combined)
Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices/REST APIs
Strong proficiency in .NET (C#/VB.NET), ASP.NET, WinForms, and HTML5/CSS3
Solid understanding of design/architectural patterns and relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL)
Demonstrated experience managing teams of 12+ developers across multiple technology stacks
Experience in banking, capital markets, or financial services domain (strongly preferred)
Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills
