### About the Role
Abilitics is looking for a creative UI/UX Designer who can turn ideas into intuitive digital experiences and engaging visual content. You will design web and mobile applications, support website design and maintenance, and create assets for marketing and internal communications.
This role suits someone with a strong design portfolio, attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate with clients and collaborate closely with our HR, marketing, and development teams.

### Key Responsibilities
– Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma.
– Understand user needs and business requirements through stakeholder discussions, basic user research, and usability testing.
– Design and update responsive websites, improving usability, visual consistency, and overall user experience.
– Design layouts and supporting visuals for blogs, white papers, presentations, newsletters, and other content.
– Publish and update website content through a content management system, maintaining consistent formatting and brand standards.
– Create posters, social media graphics, event collateral, recruitment creatives, and internal communication materials.
– Work closely with HR on employer branding, employee engagement campaigns, and hiring communications.
– Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, brand assets, and promotional content.
– Participate in client discussions, present design concepts, explain design decisions, and incorporate feedback.
– Prepare clear design specifications and assets for developers, and review implementation for design accuracy.
– Maintain reusable components, design libraries, and brand guidelines while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.

### Required Skills and Experience
– 3–5 years of relevant experience in UI/UX, web design, or digital product design.
– Strong proficiency in *Figma*, including Auto Layout, components, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
– Working knowledge of *Adobe Creative Cloud*, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with InDesign is an advantage.
– A solid understanding of typography, colour, layout, visual hierarchy, and responsive design.
– Experience designing for web and mobile, with awareness of common platform conventions.
– Familiarity with accessibility principles and inclusive design practices.
– Experience with a CMS such as WordPress, including content publishing and page updates.
– Ability to prepare and optimise images and other assets for digital channels.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients.
– Good collaboration, organisation, and time management skills, with openness to feedback.
– A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX thinking, website design, and visual communication work.

### Good to Have
– Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to support collaboration with developers and routine website updates.
– Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and how design and content structure affect website performance.
– Experience with usability testing, analytics, or user feedback to improve designs.
– Skills in presentation design, basic motion graphics, or video editing.
– A degree or diploma in design, visual communication, interaction design, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

### Location
This is a *work-from-office role in Kochi (Cochin)*. Candidates based in Kochi, or willing to relocate, are preferred.
