QA Tester – Fresher

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester – Fresher to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring that the product meets the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing of web/mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
Re-test fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues are properly resolved.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
Participate in test planning and contribute to improving the overall QA process.
Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues beyond predefined test cases.
Ensure software applications meet quality, usability, and functionality expectations.

Required Skills
Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of different types of software testing.
Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of API testing is an advantage.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Postman, Selenium, or similar tools is an advantage.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates with relevant QA/testing certifications or academic projects will be preferred.
