Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Web Developer with strong hands-on expertise in WordPress, PHP, MySQL, website development, e-commerce, API integrations, and modern AI-powered development tools.

The candidate should be capable of independently developing, customizing, troubleshooting, and maintaining static and dynamic websites, WordPress websites, and e-commerce platforms based on client and project requirements.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable using AI tools to improve development productivity, debugging, testing, documentation, research, and code quality, while independently reviewing and validating AI-generated code before implementation.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using themes and plugins.
* Perform WordPress plugin installation, customization, integration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
* Develop custom WordPress functionalities based on project requirements.
* Develop static and dynamic websites using *HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL*.
* Develop and customize e-commerce websites using *WooCommerce or similar platforms*.
* Integrate payment gateways, APIs, CRMs, WhatsApp, third-party platforms, and other external services.
* Develop custom modules and functionalities using PHP and relevant frameworks.
* Work with *Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other PHP frameworks* as required.
* Convert *Figma/UI designs into responsive, pixel-accurate websites*.
* Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
* Optimize websites for speed, performance, security, usability, and SEO.
* Troubleshoot and resolve frontend, backend, database, hosting, plugin, and integration-related issues.
* Maintain and upgrade existing client websites.
* Perform website migrations, backups, updates, and troubleshooting when required.
* Coordinate with designers, SEO specialists, digital marketing teams, project managers, and clients.
* Understand project requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions.
* Estimate development effort and communicate technical requirements and dependencies.
* Follow proper coding, testing, version-control, backup, and deployment practices.

Use AI-powered development tools for:

* Code generation
* Debugging

* Troubleshooting

* Write effective prompts to obtain useful development outputs from AI tools.
* Review, test, modify, and validate AI-generated code before implementation.
* Ensure AI-generated code is secure, scalable, maintainable, and compatible with the project architecture.
* Use AI responsibly without compromising client data, credentials, source code, or website security.
* Continuously explore new AI tools and development workflows that can improve productivity.

Required Technical Skills

WordPress

* Strong hands-on knowledge of WordPress.
* Theme customization and child themes.
* Plugin customization and development.
* Custom post types, taxonomies, forms, menus, widgets, etc.
* WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.
* WordPress database structure.
* WordPress troubleshooting and optimization.

PHP & Backend

* Strong knowledge of PHP.
* Good knowledge of MySQL.
* Knowledge of at least one PHP framework:

Frontend

AI Tools

Experience with AI-powered development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools is preferred.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate how AI has been used in actual development work rather than simply knowing how to generate code.
